Dr. Martin Gyambrah

Martin Gyambrah is a Senior Educational Manager and Organizational Psychologist with extensive experience in institutional leadership and administration in international contexts (legal frameworks, systems, models, quality assurance, project coordination), building international partnerships with Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs), government institutions and NGOs as well as the provision of International education through the deployment of key technologies into synchronous, asynchronous, hybrid learning environments.

He is the Foundation Director of the University of Applied Management, Germany (Ghana Campus), a Senior Lecturer in Business Psychology and representative for the International University Network (IUNworld), an international network of several private, state-recognized universities with their cooperation partners and affiliated institutes in Germany, Austria, Canada and China. He is a Senior Research Associate and Advisory Board member of Consulting firm Bureau of Market & Social Research, Ghana.

He has held previous positions as lecturer of Organizational Behavior and Operations Management at the European University, Munich Campus; Consultant at MP Management Consultants in Erding, Germany and Programs Manager at Acts in Afrika, Ghana.
Gyambrah holds BA (Hons) degree in Psychology from the University of Ghana, a graduate qualification in International Communication & Cooperation from the Munich University of Applied Sciences, a Master’s degree (MA) in Psychology of Excellence in Business and Ph.D. in Psychology and Educational Science all from the University of Munich, Germany. He has certificates in Business Management from The Educational Association of the Bavarian Economy/EU Social Funds, Germany, Marketing from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK) in Co-operation with the European Union Social funds, Germany. Besides, he has been selected to participate in various expertise development programs among them the German Academic Exchange Service Joint Higher Education Management Program award and certification for University Leadership and Management Training jointly coordinated by the DAAD and HRK (German Rectors’ Conference) on Human Resource Management, Project management and Management of Financial Resources at the University of Oldenburg and the Berlin University for Professional Studies, Berlin Germany.

His core areas of practice and research include Internationalization of Higher Education, Open and Distance Education, Applied Creativity and Innovation, Organisatonal factors and performance, Management of Organizations, Education for Sustainable Development, Corporate responsibility, Ethics & Accountability, Innovations in Teaching and Learning, Globalization and the Virtual Workplace, Project and Quality controlling.
